When applied properly, semi-permanent Xtreme Lashes® can last up to 2 months, depending on the natural growth cycle of each client's eyelashes.  The right bonding agent is of critical importance.  Xtreme Lashes® adhesives are specially formulated with a unique waterproof bonding agent to last longer than most other adhesives.  Imitation products may not last as long because of their low quality bonding agent.

We recommend getting a touch up every two to four weeks.  A natural eyelash sheds every 60 to 90 days due to the natural growth cycle and is naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash.  At any given moment, each of your natural eyelashes is at a different stage of its life cycle.  A touch up is needed to replenish the lashes that have completed their life cycle.  Touch ups generally take a short time and are relatively inexpensive.

Yes. The specially formulated bonding agent allows you to shower, swim, exercise, and spa worry-free while wearing Xtreme Lashes®.  You can enjoy these lashes with little need to adjust your lifestyle.  Do not swim or spa for 2 days after the procedure to allow adequate bonding time, after that you can swim and spa worry free.

In general, to maintain your new look and extend the life of your lashes, follow these simple guidelines: 

• No Water, Steam or Heat for the first 48 hours after application so the adhesive has time to fully bond.
• Avoid swimming and the spa for 48 hours after lash application for best results.
• Be gentle with your eyelash extensions; do not pull on them or rub your eyes excessively.
• Do not use a mechanical lash curler. Xtreme Lashes® offers a heated lash curler. 
• Avoid the use of oil-based products on or around the eyelashes and do not use waterproof mascara.  Water-based mascara and water-based mascara remover may be used if desired.  Apply the mascara sparingly only on the tips and remove it gently with a water-based eye makeup remover. (Constant application of heavy eye makeup, particularly mascara and eyeliner, may reduce the lifespan of your lash extensions and require more frequent touch-ups.)
• Apply Xtreme Lashes® Protective Coating once or twice per week on your new lashes to preserve the look and extend the life of your Xtreme Lashes® Lash Extensions.  Brush on from the base up to the tips.  This coating also gives the lashes a wonderful shine!
• We recommend getting a touch up every two to four weeks to maintain maximum fullness of your Xtreme Lashes® Lash Extensions.
